The Central Bohemian Regional Development Agency is the member of The Czech Association of Regional Agencies of Czech Republic, which has the national impact on the regional development in various areas. The CBRDA provides following services: regional programming, elaboration of analysis, development strategies, programmes and plans, coordination and technical assistance in implementation of development policies, programmes and projects and it is also in close contact with regional and national actors operating in the field of early-stage financing and the business support organizations. It has also provides an active support to the development of entrepreneurial activities not only in the Central Bohemian region.

It is a consortium of SMEs of graphic, publishing and multimedia sectors. Its mission is to manage and submit national/international projects and to promote cooperation. Special attention is paid to the coordination of projects since this task has been done in several national and international projects in the past. Areas of specific expertise are: production and services. The first concerns with printing, lithographic, digital and serigraphy products. The second regards communication and marketing services for SMEs, including management and coordination of projects. Competences in relation to the European projects: development of multimedia products, devoted software, web-sites, DVD, Video, communication plans, strategic-territorial marketing, graphic plans, creation of new enterprises, guidance to the implementation of technological innovations, planning and realization of applied research projects, international cooperation, training and coordination. All activities have a specific focus on the SMEs target.

The Technology and Innovation Centre of the Czech Technical University in Prague (TIC CTU) was founded under the appellation The Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) in May 1991, as the first such a centre in the Central and Eastern European countries, with the assistance of the Government of the Czech Republic and the European Union. Starting in 1992, the Centre was built up under a PHARE programme pilot project. In the same year, TIC CTU was accepted as a full member of the European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN).
According to the Czech Higher Education Act, the Centre is not an independent legal body, but forms a part of the Czech Technical University. TIC CTU is a self-financing organisation. The Centre is a member of the Science and Technology Parks Association of the Czech Republic, of the Prague Economic Chamber, and of the European Business and Innovation Centre Network. We also have working links with a number of other organisations. The Centre has been entitled to use the Logo of Quality E. C. BIC since 2004. TIC has taken part in a wide range of international and national projects, as TRANSACT, Gate2Growth, ProWomen, EUROCERTSTAFF, FORCREST, EUPRO - OK 480, OK 451, OK 420, CePo, KREDIT.
Areas of our expertise: transfer of innovative technologies and knowledge from CTU to companies, consultancies related to science and research programmes; support of creation and development of innovative SMEs - wide range of services provided by the TIC Business Incubator; protection of intellectual property rights, patent services, licences etc. Competences in relation to the project: CTU and the Centre disposes of a wide base of lecturers and academics - experts of marketing, management, business finance, business planning, setting up a company, entrepreneurship education. TIC offers experience and knowledge about vocational education and training. It has competences on the analysis of target groups needs.
